Story

After many years supporting children, teens, and families in mental health and educational settings, I created this practice to share tools that help families navigate childhood and adolescence. I use expressive arts and mindfulness to help young people explore emotions, build resilience, and express what can be difficult to put into words.

For over 20 years, I’ve supported children, adolescents, and their families through moments of crisis, transition, and growth. My approach is grounded in safety and connection, helping people feel seen, understood, and empowered, even when emotions run high. Whether we’re navigating a crisis, practicing de-escalation, or building tools for everyday life, I bring steadiness, compassion, and respect for your lived experience. I draw from a wide range of modalities, including crisis intervention, parent coaching, mindfulness, and expressive art therapy. 

I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, anxiety, and school-related challenges, informed by my background as a school counselor. I understand how learning environments, family systems, and emotional well-being intersect, and I help clients and caregivers develop practical strategies that work in real life, not just in theory. 

Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you or your child; it’s about building understanding, resilience, and connection. Together, we create space for regulation, self-expression, and growth, moving at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable for you and your family.
