Jennifer Csordas
Mindful Military Mama, Life-long Learner and Giver of Light
Now a licensed Expressive Arts Therapist based in Allentown, Pa, I began my professional career with a double major in English and Psychology from King's College and immediately went on to obtain an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College.

After working in the mental health field after college, I took a hiatus to become a full time stay at home mother of four. When all my children were back in school full time, I also went back to school as an administrator focusing on managing challenging behaviors on elementary level. That work was stressful and in order to cope I found the path of yoga and mindfulness, leading me to become a 500RYT and 95RCYT with extensive training in trauma informed care.

The more work I did teaching stress and anxiety management through the use of mindful movement and mediation, the more I became intend with the grave desire for healing. This lead me to the path of therapy, particularly that of the expressive arts variety where all of my acquired knowledge could be used to help other woman manage the many life demands in a way that was mindful of their whole body health.

I love nothing more than being in nature with my family and my dogs. Hiking, biking or paddle boarding are some of my favorite activities. Indoors I can be found making art, finger knitting, reading or dancing in the kitchen while someone else is doing the cooking.
